Loading ...Game’s open to beta, which is a big ol pain in the tail, always something going wrong there, always some little kiddie fucking about this or that or some stupid shit. Don’t get me wrong, I like the game, I love it being open, but god DAMN, can we do a little less fucking please children??
Movies, lots of movies I’ve been to see, actually. Saw School of Rock, earlier this week, and I loved it!! Jack Black is *censored*in HILLARIOUS!!! For some (odd) reason it was sold out last night when we went to see Runaway Jury last night.
Runaway Jury? Well, it’s good, don’t get me wrong, but if you’ve read the book, you’ll notice a shitload of discrepencies.
The book is written about a tobacco lawsuit, this one turns into a gun lawsuit. There’s a ton of other (some larger than others) discrepencies, such as the jury foreman not actually being yanked from the jury at the last minute, a lot of other stuff.
Latest project? Between movies, business (kind of slow right now) and the game, my time has pretty much been spent, but when I’ve got a few minutes, it’s usually either spent watching or recording Buffy The Vampire Slayer. I swear, it’s all Mike’s fault, he got me on this kick and I just can’t stop!! Isn’t there a patch or something? I spent most of yesterday going through his tapes, transforming from tape to vcd , stripping commercials and all that. I figure by the time I’m done with HIS tapes I will be (pretty much) caught up with seasons 6&7, and have an entire copy of seasons 1,6 and 7. Since FX is showing it 2 shows a day, I’ll just grab that, save that to the drive and do the same thing with the tapes. I’ll have all the episodes in a few months I’m sure.
Life is good, not great, but good. I’ve come a long way, there’s no way in hell I’m giving up now, but there’s so much farther to go. I’ve started doing the whole DMOZ thing again, adding sites to webbots that should be added. Sadly, I only do it part time, and it’s only a volunteer thing, but hey. I enjoy doing it, and it looks rather nice on the resume that I did it.
