So, it’s that time of year, you know, the time when them turkeys run and hide, the time when the hams tell you you’re getting a bit too fat, the time when you get to take and spent a couple of glorious (??) weeks in the winter with your kids (Look ma, I’m on vacation!). It’s the holidays, and lo and behold, it all starts with today.
This season, try to remember that as much as they may frustrate you, they are still your family. They may be your brother, sister, mother, father, aunt, uncle, neice,grandchild, nephew, whathaveyou, but they ARE still your family!
If you’re driving today, or this weekend, please drive carefully, and remember, drinking and driving = NOT safe! And hey, don’t forget the busiest shopping day of the year, that would be tomorrow morning!!!
Enjoy the turkey, or whatever you’re having , and enjoy the company of your family if you’re fortunate enough to be near them!
