SO, I’ve been back from vacation a week, and already managed to
A> fuck up my gallery (oops, thankfully that can be redone)
B> get sick (god knows with what)
C> Get swamped

For those wanting reports of the vacation, they will be sporadic at best. I’m sorry, but I’m just swamped with work and the like (trying to recreate my own gallery for one). Oh, it’ll get done, just trust me there, it’ll take a bit longer than usual though.

Mel, thanks for coming down after the hellish week you had. I hope you had as much fun as I did on Thursday.

Bill and Dave, thanks for hanging with me through the rest of the NW tour (that we knew about). It was a pleasure getting to know you two, and I look forward to it again

Jodi and Ewi, as always the time at your place was a complete treasure. Sure , we didn’t go out and DO a lot of stuff, but damnit, we didn’t have to. I appreciate your hospitality and your friendship. I only hope that there’s a way I can repay you guys for all you’ve done to me.

To the Family:
It was a bit of a messed up weekend, but we pulled it off!!! Here’s to that! I love you guys, all of you. Thank you for being my family and making things work through everything!

To the RCPM folks:
We’ll see YOU at the end of the month in IL, MN, IA. Just off of one trip and on to another. I look forward to seeing you on all 3 shows, though MN and IA are DEFINITE, still working out IL!

I had a little piece worked out on my phone:

Take 300 people, put them on a plane, start shaking that plane around and you see just how vacation 2k7 started out.

But wait, that’s not all. I guess I should start at the beginning, ehh?

Flight out was @ 7am which means be @ airport @ 6, cab @ 530. This early in the am, you gotta know something is gonna fuck up, and it did. I got to the airport and realized I had no camera. YIKES!

Thankfully a call to Mike got this fixed (thanx man I owe you big time). He ran by the place, grabbed the camera and ran it to me @ the airport.

The flight to Minneapolis was uneventful. After a half hour walk (Seriously), I was at the terminal for my next flight, and they were boarding. Never take an hour layover lightly!

Next part of the trip was a bit more eventful. For starters, we had a 10 minute delay because of mechanical stuff. Then, as we were getting ready to take off, we saw smoke coming from the left engined. Not what you want to see , right ? Despite the smoke, we took off. Wooh, Seattle, here I come!!

About 20 minutes in , the plane started shaking. Normal turbulence stuff. No worries there. Then it felt like we were on a roller coaster. The turbulence was so bad, you’d swear we were! This went on for a good hour while over the rockies.

As I type, we are over montana ,and I can see lots of farm land below. Gotta love this phone! More updates as I find time or things worth updating. For now enjoy your in-flight pictures thanks to Mike!!!
