Mucho Worko!

In the past few weeks, my life has changed rather drastically. From not giving a shit about anything to having someone whom I cared very deeply for to , well, back to the same old shit. The typical merry-go-round that is my life, and this entry will cover part of that, and the attitude behind it.

So, let’s start with that shall we?
It’s funny how I tend to get myself involved with the STUPIDEST situations, and this one was definitely no different. Girl comes in, girl says "Oh, Tom, I love you", find out later that girl could give two shits, right? Well, yeah, given the fact that she’s dropped off the face of the planet , and hasn’t exactly bothered to contact me the past month, I’d say only an idiot would continue hoping (or thinking) that this person ever gave a shit. Oh well, pick ‘em up and move on, right?

Next, the move.
As most by now know, I WILL (eventually) be going back to WA. Unfortunately, it does NOT look like this will happen this year, due to a few financials, and the fact that this is NOT a cheap move ($2k minimum for the truck/gas/mileage, and that’s not counting the whole deposit+first month+cable hookup crap (guaranteed another 1-2k). Bah Bah BAH!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh well, I haven’t given up on the idea, it’s just not going to be possible this year, apparently.

From there, where? Well, if you haven’t checked out the dvds site lately, do so. I finally got off my tail end and updated the software, adding all my dvds into it. Quite a nice bit of work, but it’s worth it. Now, I get to see if I can kind of mimic the site for ps2 games ;). Took most of the night last night and the morning this morning to do, but I definitely like it!

As far as personal stuff:
I’ve started a diet, well, kind of, the past week. Has it worked? I’m not sure about weight (I haven’t weighed myself in a good while, don’t really care to), but I can definitely feel a ME difference. My goal is to get back to the weight I was @ before I left Seattle (just around 200#). The first night on this "nutritional supliment", I actually got the energy to get out and re arrange my front room, which , OF COURSE helped me out. I mean, looking at this place, it is much, much , much better!

This month is starting to look like electronic hell for me, or this quarter even. If it hasn’t broken yet, I’d be surprised. It started in late January, when I replaced the PC, and hasn’t stopped. First, I lose a DVD Recorder, then the sound card starts acting up, then the replacement dvd recorder acts up…. THEN, of course, the stereo started acting up. That thing was about $200 to replace, NOT a cheap replacement, damn! To top it all off, the DVR had to be returned to the cable co. yesterday, as the box fried sometime Tuesday morning (like between 12-4am) when they were "updating" something. Clowns cost me HOURS of video stuff.. Damn!

A few months ago, I went through an entire update to my rcpm site (http://www.rcpm.us), updating each and every mp3 file, download and the like. Well, today marks the beginning of the Wylde Fans site (www.wyldefans.net) upgrade, doing the SAME stuff. this is going to sooooooo not be a good thing, as the wyldefans site has like 2x the content of the RCPM site. It’ll take DAYS to get everything uploaded back to the server, not really my idea of "fun", but it’ll be a good thing (hopefully) ;)

See, I told you that it wasn’t much of anything, now, didn’t I? Anyways, I’m done, I’m out of here for tonight. Enjoy the readings!!!
