Loading ...Christmas rocked, thanks to Mike and his family. I’m not sure if words can express that enough. It beat the hell out of sitting here, which I’ve done the past 3 years in a row.
New Years was good, didn’t get drunk, but I never do (most are lucky iuf they see me take 1 or 2 drinks at a time). It brought (of course) a new year to us, and with that a whole lot of stuff that can and will be done.
Work is same ol same ol, getting a bit busier which is (always) good, getting bills paid up slowly but surely.
Speaking of work:
I find it rather amusing that certain individuals can go out and find jobs in less than 24 hours, with hardly even looking, while others **cough** Eric **cough** are so fucking lazy they spend months feeding off of everyone else. It’s pretty damn pathetic really, a grown man living at home because he’s too fucking lazy to get a job. Then again, I’m not sure what’s worse, THAT or the fact that those around him are so gullible they’ll buy his every lie.
I’ve taken the bi-yearly migration back to linux, and it seems to be incorporating itself into my setup pretty well. Most anything can be played any more through Wine or WineX (put out by X-Gaming), so there’s not too much of a need for Windows any longer (yay). The day that Micro$hit gets put out of business because of their own greed and unjust actions will be the day that I jump up and down and throw a big ol *censored*in party.
So, I’m missing about 10 of my dvd’s. I’ve got 2 suspicions about WHERE they went, or rather WHO took them. It’s not that hard to figure out, really, 2 people have either been over here or shown interest in them since I’ve got them, and one of them has already had other misc stuff returned to me that he stole already. Just know that I’m watching you!!!!! I’m a nice guy and all, but you try to shit on me and you’ll wish you hadn’t.
Kernel compiles, blech.. I hate ‘em.. Been up doing that most of the day today, trying to get modules installed so that I can upgrade my tv card support.
Anyways, it’s late, I’m off to watch the kernel go boom again..
