Roger (http://www.azpeacemakers.com) is coming back to Iowa, or so the rumour mill says. This one I’ll be IN town for and will most definitely stop and see. Hopefully he does the Urbandale show as well, and I can get a ride up there, but if not, hell, I’ll settle for the reverb again;)
What else is there to say?
Jonah was right about True Crime: Streets of LA. If you have a chance to rent that, do it. I had a shitload of fun with that one, though I didn’t finish it in the 5 days I had it. Sweet game, it combines driving, shooting and actual fighting with a theme to the lot. Somewhat GTA’ish, but it’s not. One of the best new games I’ve played all year actually.
Checked out Driv3r, it sucks, don’t waste your time (or money). this one is almost too damned confusing, though they try (and fail) to make it like a GTA’ish game.
Lately, I’ve been watching older, and newer stuff. Found a movie I used to LOVE watching (the last starfighter) on one of them HBO channels and yanked it to drive. DVR is my friend, but it’s getting to be too much of a friend (drive’s 68% full). Now, I just need to pick up a dvd recorder to export all that crap. Oh well, that’s the next project 
After all the moving and whatnot, I’ve come to a decision. The next major move I make will take me back home. This is going to be 2-3 years down the road, but it’s on the forefront. Why? Really, because it’s where I belong. I have relatives there (the ones I want to spend time with) that aren’t getting any younger. I miss the beauty of the parks and whatnot. I miss walking outside and hearing critters. No way you’d get that around this place. I’m startin ta get a little homesick.
I’ve got a couple of writing ideas through my head, it’s been years since I’ve done any, but if I get around to it, I’ll create another section and call it "writer’s corner" or some crap. Who knows, maybe it’ll get a bit out there, but at least it’ll be productive.
I’ve been doing a bit of walking the past few weeks, to the bank and back at least twice a week, Mr Movies at least once, so average 4-6 miles a week. It’s no huge feat, but it’ll help me get myself motivated for more when the time comes.
