Well, nothing, honestly. Absolutely NOTHING, which is quite depressing, honestly ![]()
In the world of Playstation:
Midnight Club 3 (Dub Edition) is my latest and greatest obsession . The past couple of days I’ve probably logged a good 15 hours into the game (well, myself and Mike). I don’t know why I find it so "addicting", but it’s a decent, challenging game, and most importantly it’s the style of game that I enjoy.
In the world of DVD/DVR:
Charmed is now completely downloaded up until S6, and Stargate :: SG-1 is done until the last season (8). I’m getting there slowly, it’ll take me for friggin EVER to get it all encoded to dvd.
In PC Land:
Melmar (as this was originally dubbed in February) is going to be replaced in the next few months. Why? Nothing to do with the person, more with the PC itself. The board itself seems to be flaky, not reading all of the DVD drives all of the time, occasionally losing track of stuff. Not a good sign, especially since it’s an Asus board. Oh well, shit happens and then you move on. My next setup is going to be an Intel LGA 775 3.0g HT setup. Sweet system, and it will totally kick ass. My only debate right now is whether I should KEEP the current AGP card or get an PCIE card. Of course, this will determine which board I should pick up, so I’ll wait there. In the next few months though I’ll be replacing Melmar with Daemon (yes, that will be the name of the new beast).
Quarter mania rules.
What IS quartermania, you ask? Simply put, it’s all you can bowl for .25 a game, beer for .25 (or .50 depending on the size of the glass), hotdogs for .25. Nice little thing they got going on there, it’s too bad I ROYALLY suck ass at bowling.
On the DVD front:
Well, I finally did it. I’ve been putting off buying Star Wars (the originals) on DVD until 3 came out, but I did it anyways. Now I have all 5 current releases and when 3 comes out I’ll have that one too.
As well, I gave in last Friday and bought the Blade set. Not really cheap, but it’s a good series.
On the business front:
It’s quite frustrating trying to get ahold of individuals that don’t seem to want to pay their bills on time. Unfortunately, that’s part of the business I guess, dealing with crap like that. Thankfully, I haven’t had to deal with TOO much of that, but still, it’s annoying as hell to run down customers that flat out refuse to pay.
On the personal front:
What can be said here? I’m going to have to start excercising a bit, even if that only means walking a mile or two every couple days. Nothing huge, but it should help the current situation.
I’m soooo looking forward to going back home this summer, for a couple weeks. Vacation couldn’t come sooner, I love this time of year, every year, spending time with family, friends, relaxing, completely (almost) internet free!
Anyways, it’s late, I’m somewhat buzzed and I have a game to get back to. So, deal with it!!!! Lata people!!!!
