Loading ...Define “cursed”? Well, here we go, I’ll try:
Metallica/Summer Sanitarium 2003:
Deftones were supposed to play, but one of their band members came down with a serious illness requiring hospitalization
Poison/Skid Row/ Vince Neil 2003:
Great concert, actually. As soon as we left though, and got back home, we read that one of Poison’s trucks had caught on fire.
Weird Al 2004
within 7 days of seeing Weird Al, it was reported that his parents were dead.. I forget the cause of death, but, yet again, the curse takes it’s toll.
Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, 2004
The VERY next show after seeing Roger, one of his guitars got stolen. And this one I had thought was safe from the curse, but apparently it wasn’t.
Toby Keith, 2005
Ted Neugent was supposed to show up, but , well, got delayed in Minnesota (at least I think it was), due to weather problems, making it impossible for him to fly in. Not severe, but still, a part of the curse.
Motley Crue , 2005
This one could be twofold, really. Weather prevented a LOT of people (I’m sure) from getting there, as it was a pretty shitty drive up there from anywhere, but the funnier part wa Tommy breaking the titty cam! Yes, the titty cam was back, and they’ll probably grab another camera at some store somewhere, but it’s hillarious. This isn’t the crue report, I’ll write a bit more in the next entry about the show, but the curse lives on!
I’m almost afraid to go to any concert any more, but it’s almost hillarious too. I mean, go to concert, wonder if curse is still in effect, get out of concert, see nothing MAJOR has happened, then check news for the next few days. Kinda makes one wonder
