Loading ...So, yesterday:
I was woken up at 5am by my computer because internet was down. YAY ME!!! 30 minutes later, STILL down, oh joy. So, I call them up and they say "I’m sorry, mr. Whiting, but your service has been suspended and won’t be re-enabled until monies have been paid". Great, wonderful. So much for any sort of business, right?
The funny thing about all of this is that the night before (Wednesday) , I’d gotten a call saying "Mr. Whiting, you owe us such and such amount". My response was "I’ll have 99% of it paid by Monday, because it was true". He was all "ok, that’s fine, we can do that". Now, nowhere did this *censored* warn me that I’d be without service. In fact, he said that because it wasnt all there, he would be able to work with me to not get it cut off (nice guy, right?). Of course, he never did.
The moral of the story:
Don’t ever rely on equipment to shut a customer off, because you might just be losing a very good bit of change.
I cancelled every extra imaginable with them, from TV-Guide to every additional cable channel (I"ll probably cancel the cable side of things shortl if things don’t look up), simply because they pissed me off. They lied to me, they cost me a good sized chunk of change, so I cost them a larger one (around $100/month to be exact), and will gladly switch if a reasonable service is offered in the area.
Phone:
It’s back, it’s right here in my hand (yay phone), had it back on Monday, less than a week after sending it in. I’m quite impressed with the turnaround actually. I’ve since signed up for Sprint’s equipment replacement plan which will help things out tremendously if this happens again (max 4 days no phone).
Life:
Well, it is life. It’ll always throw this or that curveball at you, the idea is to dodge them the best you can, or deal with them. Business is slow, but that’s expected with the fucks that are running things in the majority of countries. Economy slow = business slow.

Well, I’ve got all of season 5, most of season 3 and 2, and am starting to grow my other seasons rapidly. I will NOT stop until I have the full showing (plus quite a few extras). then it’ll be throw them on vcd time (god that’ll be a big pain in my ass).
Long story short:
It’s starting to look up (barely), but there’s quite a bit of shit behind me to clean up. Would help if people were dependable and reliable, but all you can rely on most for is shit, their word is shit, literally. Very few (and I can count them on both hands) have even warranted me relying on them, and those actually EARNED it through one thing or another.
