Vacation 2005 - Can we say plan, anyone?

Loading ...This year, I’m starting to really doubt this plan, though. Don’t get me wrong, I’d LOVE to be there, but nobody (and I mean nobody) has any dates set firm for being there. Everyone’s "waiting" on my sister, who, as much as I love ‘er has the same skills at planning shit as my mom does.
Unfortunately, she doesn’t seem to understand (or, maybe the word should be "care") that the closer things get to the date of travel, the more expensive the tickets are to pick up. Yup, they are rather decent now ($290 from Moline, IL both ways) if I take the flight RIGHT now, based on my sister’s assumption (She THINKS it’ll be the 11th of August she’ll be there), but what the hell happens if she doesn’t get the house? Then, I’m stuck in Washington ? Not that I mind being stuck in WA, but the major part of these trips are to get everyone together on my dad’s side of the family @ once.
I (really) look forward to this year’s trip though. Hopefully I’ll be able to find a few days to hang out with Jodi n Ewi, which looks like a very good probability. Hopefully (as well), I’ll be able to spend some time in Spokane, doing silly stuff. I’m not sure about all that though, at the moment.
Vacations are good, already planning the RCPM trip to Mexico in October (will be about $3-400 per), providing Patrick was serious about going. That’s going to be an adventure in and of itself, a weekend of drinking, listening to RCPM (and whoever they get as a special guest) play, and just kicking back in Mexico. Gonna be SWEET
Back to the topic at hand though:
Can we pleeeease set a date for this WA stuff so that I can get the tickets? Otherwise, I’m screwed. I WANT to go, but if nobody gets their heads out of their uknowhats and sets a date within the next couple of weeks, I can’t. It’s unreasonable to expect everyone to just buy in at the last minute, ESPECIALLY with ticket prices around here (W’loo is a minimum $800, which is why I’m going through Moline, 2 hours away).
