Well, so I was on a good roll, updating things, keeping entries, and I just blew it. Sorry gang, but I got caught up in work. A bit of a followup on the previous entries though:
Vista:
I haven’t abandoned the project, it’s still sitting on my pc, I just haven’t fired it up in a while. Why? Wow has given me issues on Vista (most likely with the NVidia drivers) since day one. I’ll get things fixed back up shortly.
MTG:
I just recently (last week) put everything I own from boxes into binders. Why? Because I can (a-la Travis) and , because it makes things more accessible. I can go through a certain color (rare, uncommon, common) easily enough and pull crap out for decks, which I need to do shortly to put together a deck or three for Origins!
Origins:
Yup, we leave tomorrow night, and it’ll be a 12 hour drive for Travis.
Originally, I was going to use Mike’s Ipod on the trip, but since he let his girlfriend take it (and she forgot it at her parent’s house), I picked one up for myself. So, I now have a 30g ipod that will Own for quite some time. It beats the shit out of carrying all of my cd’s around constantly, and I’m sure Sony will find SOME way to plug that bad boy into the ps3
PS3:
Despite the high cost, I have effectively paid a deposit on the big assed mofo. Why?
Well, firstly, I’m NOT an X-Box fan whatsoever. The only thing “unique” there as far as I’m concerned, as far as games go? Halo
Secondly, the next generation of gaming is just going to kick soooo much ass, it’s just not funny
Thirdly, Wii, while it MAY have the decent controllers (gotta give ‘em props for sensitivity), is still put out by Nintendo which, in all honesty, should have bagged it in years ago.
Fourthly, it’s a bloody PLAYSTATION! No, I’m no PS fanboi (especially considering my last one won’t even take the multi-tap for whatever reason), but I AM a realist. Sony has been doing business much longer than Microsoft, Nintendo, and the like. They have put out (very) few crap games, and, it’s just all in good sense to use their systems for this. I can’t wait for the ps3 to come out now 
The original controllers we saw (the boomerangs) for the ps3 have been revamped, and they’re back to the ps2 style controlers, only WIRELESS BABY!
That aside:
I’ll be at Origins this weekend, needing a little break from the mundane (a-la Piers Anthony) life. Hopefully I’ll have pictures to pop up when I get back, and lots of interesting stuff. Not really looking to “win” a shitload of magic, but we’ll see what I can do ;). The snake deck is a snake deck, and missing a few things. I have a few ideas up my sleeve, but not going to mention anything huge right now 
Anyways, I will see all you bitches when I get back…
