Loading ...What prediction was right? Well, I have to say that the Batista/HHH match came out just as I expected it would. HHH got his ass KICKED! By the end of this match, he was literally covered in blood. Thankfully, Batista walked away with the title. Now, we just have to see if he can keep it for any length of a timeframe.
Shit that was just great!
Hulk coming out to rescue Eugene’s ass. I mean, totally scripted, but totally NOT on the bill. Maybe Hassan will actually learn to quit running his mouth, but I doubt it. Does this mean we’ll see a Hulk return? Doubtful, but one can hope, right?
Austin and Piper. Man, this was a freaking hillarious pit. Started out with the two of them going head to head, then this cuban asshole comes out and tries to tell them that he’s the shit. Well, he gets the stunner, and then Austin hands him over to Piper who kicks his ass. Austin and piper enjoy a half case (at least), and then Austin gives Piper the stunner. No respect, a true rebel, the man is great, absolutely great.
Letdowns?
Well, we DIDN’T see the Spanish Announcement table get trashed this year, for the first time in HOW many years? I mean, this is/was a Wrestlemania tradition. The closest we came was Taz/Michael Cole’s table top being ripped off. Damnit!!!
The ‘Taker/Orton match was a huge letdown. Of course, I called Orton, but ‘Taker’s now 13-0 @ Wrestlemania. Maybe next year. Seeing Bob Orton helping his son out was great, but they both got trashed in the end. Oh well.
The HBK/Angle match was allright, a bit long, and I’d have loved to see HBK win, but, in the end he tapped out, because of the Ankle lock. Damn damn damn damn damn!! Oh well.
Most of Wrestlemania was all show and whatnot, which you’ve got to expect with the them of "Wrestlemania goes hollywood", but it was great to see these guys go at each other, and see Eugene come back.
