Loading ...Things have been things, rather hectic, yet good enough for me to eat up. Back to spending a bit of time on the game coding side, both on phoenix and DR.
Phoenix:
The place has grown up a bit, but it’s still quirky as ever, especially when you’re dealing with having an imm that has none of the standard commands. Kind of a pain in the ass end to have to corner everyone simply because someone’s too stubborn to give up commands that are immortal to an immortal, but it’s how she wants to do the job I guess.
DR:
Originally brought to life to allow a bit of RP, this game seems to be falling back on it’s purpose, which is great. I don’t want the Phoenix/childish mentality there, I want the responsible adult / enjoyment mentality there. Thankfully, I’m starting to find out that people do enjoy that kind of thing, though they are certainly fewer and farther between than the usual children crap.
What else is new?
Vacation #2 this year is just around the corner. I’ve been back to Seattle once this year (July, read your history damnit! :P) and this will be trip #2. The difference? Quite simply, not having to put up with my mother.
Admittedly, the woman is my mother, and I love her dearly for that, but that’s all. The attitude behind her is absolutely scary, the fact that she’s over 50 years old and STILL relying on her mother to pay her rent, again, absolutely scary. The fact that she’s not got a clue what the REAL world is about, just scary. Sooooo, I’ll be skipping her this trip 
I AM actually rather looking forward to enjoying this trip however. I’ll be in Spokane the first part of it, in Kirkland (with Jodi and all) the second, which I’m reaaaaaly looking forward to, just a few days of relaxation, ps2, and new years activity, and finishing the trip off with a visit to Sequim , to see my grandparents and family over there. What a well rounded vacation.
What else:
My game collection has grown immensely since I’ve come back from vacation this summer, almost doubled in size. YAY! Unfortunately, now it’s time to beat the crap out of a few of these that I haven’t even STARTED to play yet. I’ll get there in time
New place just kicks maximum ass! Well, it’s not new per se, but it’s new enough to me! Living right across the street from a grocery store, barber shop, etc, makes life SOOOOO much easier, especially when you don’t drive!
Business is good, planning a couple of advertisement posts for early January, hopefully that’ll do well and good, bringing in just a bit more income! I’m not complaining about the current status, but, as always, extra income is good, right?
Life is good, it could be better, but what the hell, it couldn’t be TOOOO much better. I’m not complaining one bit about anything right now,e xcept for the fact that the cats are smelly and need their box changed. Guess I’ll have to either
A> Teach ‘em to do that themselves
or
B> Clean it myself
Probably going to be going with B
