The forums are gone (what do -=I=- need with forums anyways? ), there are more links and more categories, more yummy things such as Weather, image previews , the shoutbox returning and more.
Of course, the site layout has changed as well. I was getting a little tired of dusty old blue, so I found something I liked, rewrote it and configured it to work with this place.
In the next couple of months, I’ll be adding and developing a couple of scripts for the geeklog community:
DVD Listing
This will contain a global listing of all of the DVD’s released in the North American region (as published), which will contain actors, descriptions, when released and more. I’ll be implementing that into my webpage as a "my dvd list" so to speak, probably end up replacing the "movies" section with that.
PS2 Listing
This one will be more complicated to do, because there is no "published list", or if there IS, I haven’t been made aware of it (if you know where I can get a CSV copy of it, please tell me), but it’s going to be the same principle.
Both of these will allow ratings, user comments and a ton more. Of course, I’ll be damn lucky to have both out by the end of the year, but I’m going to push my luck and say that’s what I’ma gonna do.
Other news:
The dvd recorder is here and now a part of my home ent. system (Wait, I have a home entertainment system?). Yet another remote to add to the hellishly large collection, but it looks good.
My only complaint so far? I can ONLY use +rw, not standard dvd+r , and anyone who knows anything about media knows that +rw is always going to be more expensive. Thankfully, I’ve got a few +rw’s and can transfer FROM +rw to dvd.
Yes, confusing, I know. I’m not even sure how it manages to work , but for now, I can only use +RW. It’s all good though, I’ve got a stack of +R’s that are blank that I can transfer from. Now the transfer from DVR to DVD begins.
I picked up Desperado yesterday (along with the 3rd part in the series). Watched Desperado last night, haven’t seen Once Upon a Time yet, but I will. NOW I just need to find a cheap copy of El Mariachi (sp?) on DVD.
Anyways, enough psychobabble. I’m off to enjoy my evening.. Don’t have too much fun without me!

While I can’t really make any promises, I will say that I’ll do my damnedest to have this page updated every few days, with either some sort of a blog, or some other post. I say I can’t make any guarantees, because of work (duuh). Who knows when I’ll have the time to update this page, but, seeing as how it’s my own I’ll do my best to do so.
What can you expect here?
You can expect me to be myself, to put out my very being. Like it or not, it’s my page, it’s my blog and sometimes I just need to rant. Other times, I want to vent. Even other times, I just want to write. This is where that all comes forth.
You can expect me to post honest reviews of games, movies and the like. Of course, I’ll only do so after I’ve either seen the movie or played the game. Wouldn’t want anyone to think I was lying or somethin 
You can expect me to post future (and past, if found) poetry on this page. This will kind of allow me to showcase this. I don’t think of myself as a poet, but some do.
You can expect me to treat this page as my home. I will be myself here, not my "business" self, but Tom Whiting, the man behind the business. This isn’t a professional page, please, don’t expect it to be one. This isn’t a reference page, please, don’t expect it to be one. This is me, who I am every day of the year, my thoughts, my feelings, my wants, my needs and my desires. I have no need to hide any of this from anyone at all.
