Loading ...It’s almost funny how this place has kept t he same old same old mentality through every fucking set of immortals that have been there, and even managed to get WORSE over time (not better). With attitudes like “*censored* you, I’m immortal, you’re stupid mortal boy”, it’s surprising this game has even kept itself intact, but hey, what do I know right? Let’s get down and dirty.

It’s amazing the fact that you people who NEVER log on at all “see” me causing problems. What’s even more amazing? The fact that -=I=- never log on long enough TO cause problems. Funny how that shit works aint it. Let’s get the fucking record straight here, shall we?
I log on (yes, STILL log on, I won’t tell you whom or how , or even what ip address) occasionally JUST to check notes. Before that, I’d log on to be around the VERY few people who actually had a clue about reality there, nobody else. I was QUIET, yes, QUIET most of the time, so there was no way it was POSSIBLE that I could have “caused problems” as you blatantly accused me of, without any proof mind you.
Do I know why you did it? Sure, I know EXACTLY why you did it. Has this place changed over the years? Sure, I guess you could say that.
Has this place MATURED over the years? Well, emphatically, NO. The same shit still goes on, the whole cyberslut thing, the SAME attitude is held by the immortals (Ban with no reason, no recourse, just BAN, yes, BAN everyone who speaks something we don’t like).
The natural growth process requires maturity, something I doubt we’ll ever see from this shithole, not without a SERIOUS revamping of not only the immortal staff, but the entire way that things are done there. Will it happen? Not at all, at least not in THIS lifetime 
Will this get me banned? Who cares. As before, I am me, I speak my mind, my thoughts, and I’m ALLOWED to speak those, that’s one of the beautiful things of living right where I do. I’m not required to be a mindless drone , a “yes” person, if I don’t like something, I have every god given right to speak out against it, and make sure that EVERYONE knows exactly what injustices have gone on. Anyone who knows me knows damn well that’s EXACTLY what I do, and I have no qualms doing so. In fact, it’s BECAUSE of this recent “banning” that this is posted here. After 6 months of living with an individual, you pretty much know anything that there is to know about that individual. This would include their manipulative tactics, their constant whining, everything about them. You’d THINK that in 2 years that person would change, right? Apparently not.

What will happen from here? That is yet to be seen, but one thing that I assure you WILL happen is that you will never interfere again. If you do, it’ll be you and me in a court of law, plus late fees and all the extras you can add up. Believe me, I’ve got more than enough people to testify to the fact that you have yet to pay me one red cent of what you owe me, and if you can’t (or won’t), then I’ll make sure you get sent right where you belong, to jail.

Today started out allright, much like any other day, waking up to the annoying sound of my cell phone going off telling me something, somewhere is DOWN! Blech, I hate down, I just HATE it!
Today was supposed to start out my Christmas holiday/vacation, something I’m desperately in need of. What happened instead? Well, let me just say that I thought my return trip from Seattle was bad, this just takes the damn cake.
So, flight time was at 1235. Tony runs me to the airport , we get there a bit later than I like to (1045), but still in PLENTY of time to catch the flight. Or do we?
First thing I do (natural to me now), is find the desk and try to check my stuff in. But WAIT, there’s nobody THERE!! Huh, where’s the staff?
Pretty soon, the line behind me begins to fill up, and I mean fill up. There’s like 30 people in line, and we all want service. Still, where’s the staff?
FINALLY, about 1130, someone decides to grace us with their presence. I check in for my flight, still well ahead of schedule, with an hour to go. Yes, an hour. I allow for these kinds of misgivings at airports to a degree.
So, I sit down, patiently wait the hour to check into security (apparently, someone’s decided that we can’t even get into the terminal until just before we depart). Around 1230, it’s clear the plane isn’t outside, so I get back in line, wait another 15 minutes and finally get someone to look at the issue. Her response:
I’m sorry, but the plane hasn’t left Minneapolis yet, we don’t have flight attendants.. Umm, WTF? This is about THE stupidest shit I’ve ever heard of. You don’t have the staff for flights that were booked OVER a month ago? Okay, great, so when’s the next flight?
Well, they’re not certain, when the plane will arrive, they just have no clue.
Now, if I was taking a nonstop, I wouldn’t care, I’d just be like whatever and get it done. HOWEVER, I’m supposed to catch a flight in Minneapolis going BACK to Seattle at 235. Will I make that flight? Everyone agrees no, I won’t. SO, when’s the next flight?
The next flight is at 435. I ask if the plane will get us there in time for that, and the attendant says probably not. If it DID, I’d have to be routed through Dallas just to go to Seattle, and there’s a good chance that I’d miss that connection as well. Goody goody gumdrops! The next flight afte that? Sometime later, much later.
So, why all the hubub, I’m just going to Seattle, right?
Actually, no I’m not. I had a bus to catch in Seattle at 11p, going to Spokane, back to visit my grandmother over there. Since there was NO way in hell I was going to make that trip, I just bagged it all.
Now, what fucking incompetent overbooked, or underscheduled people? This is just absolutely ridiculous! To think that I’d end up sitting in Dallas on Christmas, or Detroit, rather than where I PAID to go (Seattle) is just fucking absurd. To think that the individuals behind this actually did this DELIBERATELY , again, is just absurd. The fact that I have to eat a 15% cost because of some jackasses screwups is just 100% completely fucking ABSURD!
What the hell is wrong with the customer service industry? Have you people forgotten the BASICS of customer service? Do you not CARE that your business is run to shit because you refuse to do things the proper way?
My god, this is just a complete and total joke. What the hell ever happened to being "on time" and actually staffing people correctly. Management? Yeah right, that’s MANAGEMENT allright, it’s flat out outrageous. You mismanage your flights and crew to the degree that people are left waiting in the airport for 6 hours because you don’t fucking CARE, yet you go home to your big houses and celebrate with your families when the *censored* ever you please. *censored* YOU NWA STAFF!
Incompetence apparently has taken the place of management here. Yes, I said fucking incompetence, because that is exactly what you are, *censored*ING INCOMPETENT! If you can NOT deliver, do NOT promise to do so! What the bloody hell ever happened to that oh so simple piece of logic? Apparently it never existed.
My brother is 17, will be 18 in March, and, sadly, he’s nowhere near ready for "real life". I don’t blame this on him, rather the incompetent that raised him (ie: my mother). Harsh? Perhaps, but you need to understand that this woman is a thief, and so very much more. A few examples are in order here.
When she and dad got divorced (not saying it was good or bad, because that’s irrelevant, nor am I going to take sides), she moved us from Alaska to Washington. We’d been there for 5 years, and WA was no stranger, so no difference.
For the first few months we were there, we lived with my uncle who, god love him was even MORE abusive than my dad. Unfortunately, he was strict, abusive and that just didn’t sit well with me, or my sister. No examples necessary, because I don’t really care to live that part of my past, but if I say he was worse than my dad, believe me, he was bad, VERY bad.
Once we got out of there, my sister started doing crazy shit, as teenagers will do. She was like 13 at the time I think, and decided she was going to be out all night with boys, weed, party, that kind of stuff. Great, so now there’s even more reason for mom to be unhappy. Believe me, mom doesn’t and didn’t need any reason at all to be unhappy.
Couple months later, I follow my sister’s lead, not to the degree that she did, I merely stole smokes (because mom refused to buy them) . Get caught a couple of times and I pretty much learned my lesson.
This is the beginning of a downhill slide though.
Unfortunately, mom realized she couldn’t "care" for 3 kids on her own, so she shipped me to a foster place in Washington, and left my sister to rot in detention for a few months. When SHE got out, she was shipped to my grandmothers in the Seattle area.
That’s very much well and good, but the fact of the matter is that my mom was paid to support us, it’s called CHILD support for a reason, she made almost $600 on just the two of us alone every month. Not alot? You’re right it’s not, but she refused to get her ass a job to support herself.
So, 2 years go by, finally I turn 18, and child #1 loses the support protection. Another years, child #2 (my sister) loses the same said protection. ALL this time NEITHER child #1 (me) OR child #2 (my sister) gained nothing from this protection at all. These support funds were supposed to support US, yet what did they do? They supported HER fat ass and HER boyfriend’s drinking problems. We wanted something? Great, we were told to get a damn job. Talk about arrogant and completely self centered.
As if that was all. I know for a fact that during those 4 years, she was collecting welfare on ALL 3 children, hence robbing the state of Washington , and people TRULY in need (those that couldn’t get a job to save their lives, ie: handicapped or whatever). She COULD have got a job, but she refused to look , instead depending on OTHER people constantly for shit.
Now, let’s fast forward 5-10 years. Has she changed? No. Has she got a job YET , and held it for more than 90 days? No. Is she fit to be a mother? Sadly, no. She is quite the opposite, however. A few examples from "recent" history.
My brother, 17, is an addict. We all know it. Mom knows it, I know it, my sister knows it, everyone in the family (even my dad) knows it. He’s been through countless therapy sessions, countless lockups (in fact he was just released, IF he’s even released) for crap like mail fraud, theft, etc. A classic junky, he will do ANYTHING for a fix, ANYTHING.
Upon his latest release from rehab, I was informed that he was staying "sometimes" with mom and "sometimes" with other people (ie: friends, the SAME people who got him in trouble in the first place). So, great, she can’t even make him stay at home, encourages him to stay wherever he wants and get RIGHT back in the trouble that he was in before. And, he DID. The story of his latest arrest is suspicious at best to me.
His (and mom’s apparently) version:
"I was walking home late at night and got pulled over for no reason".
Well, being that I have personally walked the streets of Seattle, Lynnwood, Everett and many more on that side of the country at ALL hours of the morning, and have NEVER ONCE been "pulled over for no reason", I don’t believe that for two seconds. My last stay in Seattle ended up with me HOMELESS, sleeping by the PIER no less at all hours of the morning, and did I ever ONCE get questioned? No, not at all, so by no means to I believe this. You have to be DOING something wrong in order to be stopped, or pulled over, or acting suspicious. The only time (once) that I have EVER in my life been pulled over for walking was with a girlfriend of mine, and we left a mall, apparently we looked like some kids who’d stolen shit or something. I complied, she complied, we went on our way, no checks, no anything.
My mom and dad have been divorced for almost 18 years now, yet this woman has such a problem she is CONSTANTLY blaming HIM for screwing up her life. This is completely and totally outrageous. Almost 20 years down the road and SHE still hasn’t accepted responsibility for HER fault in whatever happened. Amazing, isn’t it?
Try to talk to mom about shit that she doesn’t like? Forget it, you get emotional instability. I’ve seen it more than once… Burst into tears, put on the poor me act, blah blah blah. Save it for someone else, cuz I’m just flat out not buying it.
52 years old (actually, probably 53 now), and the woman STILL cries to mommy to pay her rent. No joke, folks. The hillarious part? Because of welfare and housing, her rent is JUST over $100/month. Sooooo, she’s getting almost (if not) $300/month from my dad, she’s getting welfare, food stamps. Does anyone ELSE find it odd that the woman can’t pay $100 month in rent? That’s like total incompetence there to say the least.
Back to my brother:
For 15 years, everyone in my family said the same thing to my mom, that being she’s going to cause more problems by spoiling him. Did she listen? NO, in fact to this DAY she insists "I didn’t spoil him", yet, the proof is in the pudding . He won’t listen to her now, because she’s given him everything he wants his entire bloody life. Am I surprised at the fact that he’s turned out like a spoiled brat? Not really. The boy could use some real growing up lessons, and, sadly the only way he’s EVER going to get those is to be kicked onto the street and made to fend for himself.
I find it incredibly sad that the state of Washington has not only allowed this to continue for 17 years, but has encouraged it, by doing things such as demand an extra year’s payment for child support (stretching it until his 19th birthday), and demanding my father pay almost $35,000 ABOVE and BEYOND what he’s already paid, not to mention demanding that he provide proof of insurance, which he’s done countless times in the past. It’s not HIS fault my mother’s a friggin incompetent and can’t keep records straight, it’s her own. Yet, it’s always the innocent parties that get hurt and are forced to pay for the foolishness of the guilty.
Like I said, just how low can you go? Apparently, pretty damn low. Mom, if (doubtful) you ever read this, get OFF your lazy fat ass and get a job for yourself. Make yourself dependable. So what if some of the people in the family (certainly not you) can work from home and make it WORK. That does NOT mean you can, or that you should just abandon everything to try. You’ve tried 3x so far and failed. Get off your ass, get out there and get a real job. My god!

Recently, I was in a rather bit of a bind, when the worst cable company that I’ve met in 28+ years, Mediacomm decided their own pleasures were more important than the rest of their fucking customers.
The date:
New Years Weekend: 2002
The Problem:
Nearly 25 blocks of users were out of service, when it came to Mediacomm @home, beginning with Friday afternoon, ending with fucking Wednesday evening.
Throughout all of this time, I’d spent countless hours on hold with these fucks (it takes an average of 3 hours on hold just to get through to their technical support staff), twice I was hung up on, because the person I was talking to thought that I should be nice and polite, because after all, I wasn’t out anything major, right?? I don’t fucking think so.
Through this, the problem was supposedly "fixed" 5 times, yet each time, within an hour, or two, guess what. The problem came right back.. Shows what this bunch of jackasses know about networking I guess.. Pretty much fucking NOTHING.
So, what do they do to apologize to their customers?? Nothing, nothing at all. There was no written apology, no calls saying "Hey, we’re sorry, we know we fucked up, blah blah".. They simply expect people to accept a minor reimbursement for the time that was lost offline (that’s not counting the actual inconvenience of all of that). My fucking god, how ridiculous is this company?

If you jackasses handle the transfer from the @home service just as crappily, you’ll be losing one fucking HELL of a lot more customers than you did this last time around.. Get a clue, hire someone that actually knows what they’re doing.

The OS itself?? I must say, I’m impressed with it. For once you jackasses look like you’ve gotten a handle on your memory issues. For once you’ve provided a decent, STABLE operating system.. However, I’ll be damned if I’m going to pay $100 for an upgrade to your crap assed software, when I can get a much better Operating System for FREE (many of them, even), software developed by PEOPLE, not some corporate giant asshole that doesn’t know a damned thing about creating software, or about rights, or anything of the like.. Microsoft has added a very nice little clause in the later versions of 2k pro and XP. This states that they can enter your PC as long as it has their crap on it at ANY time for ANY reason. This just freaks me the *censored* out. Normally I’m not the paranoid type, but think about this for a second people. This gives them the permission to enter and investigate your BANK computer, your community computer, ANYWHERE that information is stored, or ANYTHING running XP or 2k SP3. Over the past summer I’ve been literally ripped off by every one of my roomates, ALL people I’d thought were ‘friends’, all people who were out for nothing but a free ride, and when that free ride was over fucked like a mother fucker.
Some of these people, I’d helped out more than others, one in particular. His way of thanking me? Rearranging my shit in the living room so that it fit HIS needs (not mine), blasting me out of the living room 24/7 with HIS music or sounds (I couldn’t even fucking think!), mooching off of me for 2, 3 months until I finally said no more, being entirely disrespectful to EVERYONE in the house, the list goes on and on.
An example:
One afternoon, a call came in. The call wasn’t for him, it was on a line that both he and one of the other roomates shared. His response: Yell down the vent (when he knows the other roomate has his headphones on), and continue talking to the person. Now, granted, he knew the person, but he had no right (none) usurping that person’s phone call, and not even bothering to give the person the call was FOR a chance to get on the phone. Had it not been for me, the person would have never known he had a call and would have been not happy Common sense would dictate that if someone called and said ‘let me speak to so and so please’, that person is allowed to speak to so and so without someone else butting in on the conversation. Gee, you think?
Another example, different roomate, but it’s still the same shit, common fucking sense:
Dishes get washed when you’re done with them (not days later when you ‘feel like it’). Try telling that to Eric though, who refuses to wash his dishes for DAYS after he’s done cooking. They just sit there in the sink and grow mold and shit on them. I mean, let’s get REAL here!!!! They’re NOT your dishes first of all, and secondly I’d personally rather NOT have bugs crawling around my kitchen! Disgusting!!!
Ahh, yes, and then we have the most brilliant one of all, the one who takes everything into his room, eats it, then buries the fucking dishes. I swear, every damn time I went down there I came up with another ‘dish’ that was randomly down there. And he wonders why I got so upset when my dishes come up missing!!!
Were there good times? Ye’r damn right, there always are. Countless good times, yet when it comes down to it, the good times did not outweigh the bad, hell, the good times didn’t even equal the bad. No, the good times were so much fewer than the bad that it’s not funny. A general lack of respect was given to myself, who pays 100% of the bills ultimately, no matter who pays me or doesn’t pay me. When these people were told to get their shit together, I got jumped like a mother fucker, because THEY didn’t want to do it. I mean, I’ve had to put up with my share of shit in my day, but god fucking damn!
Going into everything, everyone was great, we were all conversing quite well, we were friends. Yeah, we had disagreements, like everyone will, but then people just started having to butt their noses in where it didn’t belong. People had to *censored* and pisss and moan when I gave deadlines, or they refused to do what was needed. Essentially, TOM got left paying the bills, they just sat along for a free mother fucking ride. When asked to pay more (one fucking time), one’s response was NO, I’m not going to, because everyone ELSE is more important to you, and I don’t HAVE to pay you anything.
So, how does all of this leave me feeling? Hurt, used, quite withdrawn, and definitely upset. Monies never were paid that should have been, people just skipped fucking town without picking up their shit, leaving their room so nasty it’s not crazy, leaving a bill WELL over $300, yet they just refuse to pay. I hate being responsible, really I do, yet, nobody else can be as responsible as myself. When it comes down to it, that’s the out and out truth.Bills are paid on time, and rent is paid on time. Everything marches to a drummer that’s quite well taken care off. That way I don’t have to worry about someone else shutting off my damn internet, or cable, or business, or phone. Funny how those t hings are needed in life I guess.
Respect? How about giving some to your local landlord, roomate, head roomate, whatever, ehh?
Lesson learned? Trust nobody. If rent aint paid on time, they’re out the door, plain and simple. I aint a fucking bank for people to be walking in and out of, not me, not now, no fucking way!
